My latest entries from Digital Journal:
- What has happened to the value of winning fair and square? More often we see huge companies, giants of industry, achieving their success by employing strategies we see in the average 6-year-old. To those companies who would stoop so low, I say, "Grow up!" - With increasing reports of swine flu infecting areas around the world and the deaths that follow, people are taking strenuous measures to protect themselves. In response, more people are wearing surgical masks, but will they protect us? - Three months after having his skull accidentally separated from his neck, a 9-year-old boy from Texas is beating incredible odds and on the road to recovery. - Any time Halloween comes around, parents are always advised to inspect the candies their children receive. This year has proven more challenging because the danger in some candy cannot be seen by the naked eye. - Pre-crime detection - the act of identifying a crime before it happens - may be a lot closer than we think. Up until now we've only had to worry about the guy next to us. Now we have to be concerned about the person behind the camera, too.
